The purpose of the Florence Freedom Booster Club is to show support and enthusiasm for the team, mainly the players themselves. The Booster Club will conduct year-round fundraisers and events. Once off the ground, the Booster Club will operate independently from the baseball organization.

Dues and fundraisers go to benefit the players in the following ways:

• provide fruit and snack trays before home games
• provide “get away” snacks prior to team departure for road trips
• provide small necessary items in the clubhouse
• help players with any emergency that might occur while away from their families

Scope of boosters’ responsibilities includes:

• conduct monthly meetings (first Wednesday of each month)
• help team with pocket schedule distribution
• man Booster Club booth at each home game and possible community appearances
• coordinate and distribute team awards
• develop player and host family welcome packets

• Free t-shirt with membership
